Throughout 2023 at the end of each month the Scholarly Development (Research) team will provide a snapshot of relevant scholarly research support news and events for the coming month.
2023 Graduate Researcher Orientation
Welcome to Graduate Researcher Orientation 2023! Come along to this session to hear Prof Justin Zobel, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Graduate and International Research) welcome you to the University of Melbourne and to the start of your PhD or MPhil journey. Prof Zobel will then facilitate a panel discussion with current and past candidates to hear their experiences and recommendations for making a strong start to your graduate research career. Following the panel discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to meet each-other during brief, 30-minute workshops around communication while the Market Hall is being reset for the provider and services fair (click here to register your interest – free food!)
