Just a quick post before I leave for SALP camp today. Even with the best of intentions, I still managed to pack a whole lotta stuff even though the camp just lasts for a little more than 24 hours. I can blame this on 2 culprits – my massive camping-in-the-bush quality sleeping bag and the lack of a just-big-enough-but-not-too-big bag here at home. Not really looking forward to hauling all these in public transport (bus, train, tram – the whole enchilada). Miraculously, my schedule cooperated for once with the camp – I have no homework or assessment whatsoever for the coming week. I feel like it’s Christmas already. An assessment-free week! That being said, I’ll act like a responsible student (or at least try to) and go over readings for next week and even do a bit of work for a landscape project that is due in 2 weeks’ time that consequently, I haven’t even started yet. Oh, and it’s supposed to be worth 50%. But I’m in camp-mode already so the reality of that hasn’t really caused me to panic just yet.
Till next time.

Hey, I just got back from my SALP camp. How did you like it?
I love it. Twas fun – it’s just too bad the weather didn’t cooperate with the camp. How about you?
Yeah, I thought it was really great. It was good to meet all the SALPers. Though it was so cold! And I didn’t bring enough clothes.
