SciVal training for research management staff

How does your faculty’s or department’s research performance compare?

SciVal*, a web-based strategic analysis tool based on Scopus data can help you find the answers! 

Dr Steve Riddell (Elsevier) will be providing training and information on SciVal in the Baillieu Library on Tuesday 12th July 2016.  These sessions will complement and expand on introductory SciVal sessions provided by Steve earlier this year.

10.00am – 12.30pm.  SciVal for Arts and Humanities.  (eLearning Studio #1, 1st Flr, Baillieu Library)

1.30pm – 3.30pm.  SciVal for scenarios (eLearning Studio #1, 1st Flr, Baillieu Library)

Using SciVal to discover the following:

  • Where do groups or departments publish and with whom do they publish? 
  • How to identify  ‘pockets of excellence’ and identify rising stars?
