Where are Books? – that light bequeathed/ to Beings else forlorn and blind!

Head nod to fellow Melb!bloggers sitting in the Monday morning creative writing lecture. I tagged along with a friend, so, shh, don’t tell anyone I’m here.
The weeks have passed and I’ve survived. I still struggle to find my tutorial week after week but I can find the closest source of Coffee blind folded and sedated. I’m adjusting to the differences in the style of teaching and learning, the deeper complexity of the material and the momentum of my timetable. I’ve figured out the best places to get some neglected work done, finally worked out where they keep the books in the ERC and know exactly who is on campus in any of my breaks. Basically, adjustment has been had.
Last week was horribly busy (Oh!noo even Arts students have to work to deadlines). I missed my first lecture in a battle of wits with the uni computers and the printers, struggling to produce a hardcopy of my Political Ideas assignment. The ERC seems to find me offensive and vulgar, we‘ve had words. After cramming to get my assignments in I’ve neglected small things like readings ect. So this week is shaping up to be just as fun as last week study wise. I spent the weekend struggling through the shit-load of Romantic poetry I needed to catch-up on after sitting blankly in my Lit and Performance tute. If I start quoting blank verse or mimicking Milton, just slap me and make me watch a few episodes of The Nanny. Gosh, the Romantics like their epics, what ever happened to the good old haiku?
So that’s it for now. I’ll try to write another post later in the week as I realise I’ve been neglecting my melbblogger duties and this was very short and complain-y.

P.S: Sorry I didn’t turn up on Tuesday! I am eager to meet you all so expect me at the next one. I know its not really internet kosher, but those with face book give me an add.
