Flucatcher
Yep, I’ve caught the flu bug yet again. This time, I had no chance of escaping it as it wasn’t just in Uni – fellow travellers in public transport are also coughing, sniffing, sneezing, blowing their nose, and downright spreading the love bug love around.
In other news, I got major projects due every week starting next week. On the plus side (yes, there is one), the deadline for my landscape project which is worth 50% was moved two weeks from the original due date. On the minus side, this gave me the idea that I had all the time in the world, which is not really good when I have a massive architecture essay due really soon. Sadly, big essay assessments are not just restricted to the Arts faculty – Architecture students do them too. Maybe I should shift to Engineering… they probably don’t have essays there.
Speaking of shifting, I have finally come to the decision of sticking with Landscape Architecture as a major rather than change to Architecture. I have to put up with people asking me about gardens (e.g. if Ican design their garden some time in the future) but that is a small price to pay considering that I am more interested in designing landscapes than in buildings. Second resolution of the semester – I have decided that I would take another breadth, NOT German anymore, by next year. That is, if the amount of work for it outweighs the amount of interest I have for doing it. Third resolution – I’ll try my hardest to do a subject (or two, if that’s allowed) during the summer semester. This could be quite difficult as there are only a handful of subjects in the Faculty of Architecture available during summer, and most of them have pre-requisites which are pre-Melbourne Model subjects. Dream large indeed.
Anyways, good luck to other students who are scurrying to finish assessments. Hope you don’t catch the flu bug. 🙂
