1-1-6
That, is apparently the number combination to know in Engineering. Easy. I actually learned something in my Engineering subject! That's quite good considering that I'm a Landscape Architecture student who's crazy enough to take engineering as an Elective. Two weeks' worth of chemical engineering lectures made me realise just HOW crazy. edit: p.s. The 1-1-6 corresponds to the 'recipe' to [...] -
In Virginia (Georgie)
Well hello there. I’m gald you could join me. Pull up a chair, stick your feet up and relax while I bore you with my travel stories from the lovely U.SofA . At the moment I am in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, in a library. It is a little, old, historic town. Kind of like a better […] -
Searching for the American Dream (Georgie)
So it is finally here! And actually, almost over. It’s the third last day of my history trip subject ‘Searching for the American Dream’ which takes place over three weeks in the winter break in: Boston, New York and DC. It’s been awesome! It wasn’t the group I was expecting and the lecturer that […]blogs.unimelb.edu.au/seconds/2009/07/14/searching-for-the-american-dream-georgie

What now?
It’s the 2nd week of holidays… and I am running out of things to do. If I have my way, I would actually prefer to have 2 weeks’ worth of holidays then have the 12 weeks of semester broken up into 3 or 4 week chunks with 2-week breaks in-between. But hey, that’s just me. I’ve gotten […] -
Exams tragedy
I was already supposed to be done with ALL my exams by Friday afternoon in the same way that I am already supposed to be enjoying my 5 weeks of reprieve from studies as of yesterday. That is not the case, unfortunately. -

3 Weeks in the life of… (Gianina)
Without a doubt, week 10-12 of semester 1 have been three of the craziest weeks of my life. I have really underestimated the massive workload for my major subjects. Compared to these, my first year Environments subjects seem like a walk in the park! Anyways, here is a quick summary of what has happened in […]blogs.unimelb.edu.au/seconds/2009/06/03/3-weeks-in-the-life-of-gianina

Study de-stress (Georgie)
Phew! I have decided to take 15minutes from stressing to write this post and perhaps it will give me a bit of perspective. I have just realised there is a live time word count that shows at the bottom of this post while I am writing – very cool, and distracting. 49 words so far. […]blogs.unimelb.edu.au/seconds/2009/05/30/study-de-stress-georgie

The Philippines (Georgie)
Wow, so I keep meaning to type but I never get around to it. I shall have to be quick actually as I’m in an internet cafe in Baguio in the Philippines and a friend is waiting for me to jump off the comp. I arrived in the Philippines about a week ago and it […]blogs.unimelb.edu.au/seconds/2009/05/12/the-philippines-georgie

A few little things have happened since my last post…
1. I’m now President of the Music Students’ Society, because we had our AGM on Thursday. Woohoo! 2. I have done nothing to implement my presidential policy agenda yet because I spent all of today writing up my Property essay due today at 4 pm. 3. In exactly one month and four days, I will […]blogs.unimelb.edu.au/seconds/2009/05/08/a-few-little-things-have-happened-since-my-last-post
