IEEE Network publication

Very excited to announce the publication of out latest work in IEEE Network (IF 10.67), where we propose and validate a novel solution framework that supports the dynamic addition and the rapid onboarding of new machines/robots in human-to-robot/machine applications.  Harnessing data samples from a real H2M/R application for training and validation, the framework enables human operators to remotely control machines/robots over extended distances through accurately forecasting their haptic feedback. By globally coordinating and sharing this learning across the network, up to 72 percent of the time can be saved when onboarding new machines/robots.

You can check out this publication and the other selected articles as part of the “Special Issue on Next-Generation Optical Access Networks to Support Super-Broadband Services and 5G/6G Mobile Networks” here.
