Friday Off! (Olle)
Yes, Friday off!
I guess I was really lucky with my Alloc8. I didn’t have to change it one bit.
But now it’s autumn and COLD. I’m sorry, but I think we have to go through some very simple autumn/winter tips. And just to let you know, this is NOT cold. This is what I’d say is cozy weather. Then again, I was brought up in Sweden and have endured -30. Go Northern Hemisphere!
TO PEOPLE FROM MAURITIUS AND OTHER EXOTIC COUNTRIES
- Try to cover your head and throat (a reason to why half my flat mates got the flu). Did you know about 80 % of your heat is up there? Take care of it!
- Get to know your own heat system. Where are you usually cold? Fingers? Toes? I do believe we got gloves and warm socks here too.
- Do exercises. It can help you keep warm.
- Why not try to find someone “hot” on campus? I’m sure that works fine too… 😉
All the best of luck!
Keep yourself warm!
Warm regards,
Olle
40 degrees one week – 17 degrees the next week. That’s Melbourne !!!
At least it keeps you guessing. And the clothing stores in business.
hahaha ‘try to find someone hot’. I’ll bear that in mind. I too am practically sunning myself lol while everyone walks around in fleeces etc. Loving the use of the new BOLD font and italics haha, I’m still stuck with the normal one since I can’t work out how to use the features. I click them but nothing happens…
Oh, are you sure? Just go to the “edit new” in the left-hand side column, and then it all works out for you. Trust me, if I can do it, you can do it too.
Hehee.. Those are some great tips. My feet and fingers get really cold.. But I find it really odd to wear gloves.. Somehow I associate them with snow. The one climatic condition Melbourne hasn’t seen yet.
if things don’t work out i resort to the html side of things… [ fears group bashing and runnnnns ]
=P yes anyway… @ankitan : i want snow ! although the only time i’ve ever seen snow actually ended up being in melbourne. out of all places. i’d much prefer scandinavia =D
The upside to the cold weather is that Connex can no longer blame their lamentable service (or lack thereof) on the ‘extreme heat’…
