Assistive Robotics in Sheep Shearing

Sheep shearing is a key industry within Australia, however, shearing itself places large demands on the human body. This results in high rates of injury, and an average career length of only 6 years. This project aims to reduce the strain and injuries on the shearers, whilst simultaneously maintaining the dexterity and freedom of movement required for the physically demanding task.
