What is life like in my penultimate year?

Time does fly. Now i am at the stage where i need to consider for my career. I am currently making seasonal applications to law firms and indeed almost every single one on offer. (in total there are about 40?). Also add to that I found a job as a clerk in the legal department of melbourne uni, working 2 days per week. Then there are 3 law subjects to study.
Well they are the reasons why I haven’t post any blog lately.
I am still fine. I am still healthy and able to still have time to do my favourite things.
I guess this is because hardwork does pay off. I’ve work really hard in my first two years in my uni work, now I am used to the studying of law. I have found the efficient ways of studying the subject (the “short cut”) :P. Also add to that, I did a summer subject for law, so I can underload this semester and focus on work and seasonal application. I highly recommend people to do a summer subject it is great if u want to have time to have fun during uni. [after the seasonal applications, i am going to be involved in my mountaineering activities and SALP, so there are a lot to look forward to at the end of this month].

About short cuts in law, :P, actually it is not hard to pass the subjects, but difficult to get a good mark. Basically just summarize the basic principles [as we learn from class & also there are textbook that offers the principles to u in a concise format] and then practise using them on hypothetical. And that is done for the final exam. For the essay component, it is like any uni essays. So studying law is not that scary. I would recommend ppl to try it out and find out how big an impact the legal system has on our life and learn lots of interesting knowledge.

This speech is sounding like a farewell speech. 😛
well it is my 2nd last year. Uni has been treating me well and i want to give something back to the uni community. Keep up the positive, [I have been and the tough time of my first year and the recent time of job hunting have been smoothed out].

btw uni indeed offers a lot to the student. I just found out we can get a flu vaccine injection for $22 at the uni medical center. This has saved me from the dilemma of wearing a mask in public transport. u know the flu season are coming. 😛
I was actually really contemplating about wearing one to avoid getting hit by the virus and experiencing what is like to be stared at.
