Chapter Twenty: Giant Platonic Solids (~jinghan)

Since my boyfriend was giving a talk on geometry I jumped on the opportunity to make some giant platonic solids out of skewers and hot glue (something I had done in a class in America). Here is a photo of the icosahedron (20 triangular faces), but there is also theĀ tetrahedronĀ (4 triangular faces), cube (6 squares… you know!), octahedron (8 triangular faces), dodecahedron (12 pentagonal faces) which I didn’t get a photo of.

And thus shall end this nerdy badly composed post… I really only put this here so I could link to it as an example of nerdiness from my next post… yeah okay I’ll just stop talking now…
