O-Week (Sophie)

Well it’s O-Week of Semester 2…so everything is beginning again.

In this moment I am very envious of my dear friend L who has the most funny and crazy lecturers in her course at ANU.
I have had some great lecturers but I am still hoping I get someone at some point who is really wacky and eccentric but a really nice person too.

I have also re-developed my obsession with going on exchange. I need to make this happen. I have no idea how I will be able to afford it because I definitely can’t ask my parents to help me get the money….so I’m hoping to book an appointment with the exchange office some time soon to discuss payment options. If I don’t go on exchange I will regret it forever. I have wanted to do this for YEARS. It is just the fiscal policy issue holding me back!

I would adore going somewhere in the US like UPenn…
And I have now developed a deep desire to go to the UK as well – possibly because Mr HT now resides there!

I have a training day for peer mentoring tomorrow and am busy doing some internship applications. I had a bit of an issue with one of my applications tonight which stressed me out [wonderful computer / technology issues] so I will have to give the HR department a call tomorrow morning….something I don’t actually have time to do but hey, I’m learning early to “make the impossible possible”.

I received the most amazing early birthday present last night from PXW. A stunning authentic vintage kelly-style Furla handbag. My life is complete! [Kidding].
