Minorities & Philosophy Melbourne Uni

MAP Melb Uni is a chapter of the international organisation Minorities and Philosophy, which aims to examine and address issues of minority participation in academic philosophy. MAP’s role is to foster a sense of community and solidarity between students and staff who come from minority backgrounds. To do so, we host events such as reading groups, lectures and work-in-progress series, which provide the opportunity for students to engage with philosophy, particularly philosophy from underrepresented philosophers. Membership is open to all, and you do not need to identify as a member of a minority group to participate.
