Classics & Archaeology Ancient World Seminar Series

The Ancient World Seminar Series, hosted by the Classics & Archaeology Program, is aimed at a broad audience, from academics to students to members of the public. The seminars are based on current research done in the School, and everyone is welcome to attend. Speakers are asked to present on topics having to do with the ancient world or archaeology and the topics in each semester’s program are always varied and interesting.

Ancient World seminars will be held on Mondays at 13:15–14:15 pm, unless another time is indicated. The seminars will either be held live in theatres in the Old Arts Building or on Zoom. We will also endeavour to ensure that for the live lectures a direct Zoom feed is provided to list-subscribers who are unable to attend in person, although cannot always guarantee the quality.

For enquiries about the program, to sign up to the mailing list, or to register for the Zoom seminars, please contact the 2023 convenors, Andrew Turner or Edward Jeremiah, via email
