A familiar feeling… (Rinaldho)
Ok, well the second week of university is over, and I have finally realised that work is something I should probably start doing very soon, sort of like now… I know that I should have been feeling that way since the beginning, but when you’re living in a college, there are too many distractions, I mean I promised myself that I would be good today and just do my homework, but when I heard the words “soccer” and “game”, how could I resist? I mean really?!
Enough talking about my own incapabilities… One positive which I have found this past week however, has been the fact that I am starting to really like my subjects. I think I just felt somewhat apprehensive about my choices in the first week because we didn’t really get into any of the content yet, so once we started getting into the subjects, it got really interesting.
Oh yea, I have also finally bought all of the books I will need for the semester! Yeayur! I don’t know why I’m so happy, I guess it’s because I know that I won’t have to go into that bookshop again for a while, with all of its charms including long lines, cramped spaces, stressing over not being able to find the section which my book is in, and worrying over the fact that anyone can just walk into the back room, take my bag and walk away with it (call me paranoid)…
Well, I guess I should wrap up there, since I need to do some more non-homework related activities in a few minutes, but I have been wondering if you guys would still like to meet up for a coffee? Since I’m guessing we all probably need a good group whinging session at the moment…

P.S. I know I said I’d get back to you with the wireless info, but as my post stated, I haven’t been doing my homework, but rest assured that it will get done!… possibly
Was there a meet up previously arranged? (outside of the media and com students post-lecture thing: feeling a bit left out :< )
I would love to have some blogger meet-ups, esp since I've only met four of you when I came to the latter sign up session.
i’m with jinghan -we science kids are left out – and i don’t remember the people i did meet because i was running around before&after the meeting. gaaaaah.
heh actually i’m thinking of poking around in the book shop now that book-stampede weeks are over, they probably have room in there now.
