Where does the time go? I mean, seriously… (Rinaldho)

Hello the internets… I know it’s been a while since my last post, but that is not completely my fault, I mean, how can one sit in front of his computer for more than 5 minutes as people scream things in my ear like; “soccer game!” or “Let’s get some drinks!” or “Let’s do anything which is only slighlty amusing, but will stop you from being productive in any way!”…

OK, so by now, I think you’ve got the jist (?) that the last week or so has been a hectic one for me:

Firstly there are these things people call “assignments” and apparently they get marked, so I think I might need to start working on one or two of those, to justify my existence at uni.

Secondly, I had dance practice for the past two weeks. And by “dance” I don’t mean ballet or salsa, I mean MANLY HIP-HOP. Why is this? Well, it was a little thing called the “Fresher Dance-Off” or “The Big Bang” (and no, it’s not named after the crap TV show)… Basically happene on Sunday, where all 10 residential colleges met up and 12 people from each college went up and did their thing… How did I go? Thanks for asking. Our college came in 4th, which was sort of disappointing since we deserved to be in the top 3 DAMNIT! If you can’t tell, I’m a competitive person. (For all of you guys planning to go to college next year, be sure to sign up for this dance-off, it is FREAKING AMAZAZING!!!)

Thirdly, football (soccer).

And finally, the reason I won’t be doing much work this week is: I turn 18 today and will damn sure celebrate fittingly! Finally, 4 weeks of watching my college-mates run off to clubs and pubs, while I play pool, are OVER!!! I know people say that it’s actually not that special, but damnit just amuse me for a bit…

Well, I guess I should be heading off to my Democracy lecture now. And hopefully I’ll get to meet a few of you bloggers at 1…
