All those random stuff (Kripa)
Please don’t read this unless you have absolutely nothing else to do. I have simply typed out some random happenings in my life which are not worth much but I did it anyway:
1. It’s sad to see the Biochemistry building being demolished. On the other hand, it is quite a good sight! I usually take the tram on Royal parade and get off on Genetics Lane, so I get to see the state of the building as time goes on. I can picture how people used to sit in their rooms, but now it’s all gone. Man builds a building, man destroys it eventually. Talk about human creation.
2. Everytime I enter the examination hall where I have to use a calculator, I have this constant fear haunting me. What if the calculator simply shuts down in the middle of a complex calculation? I realize how dependent we (or atleast me) are on the one thing that does all the work for us and how we actually trust it! Yes, I know, it couldn’t possibly go wrong. And yes, also, for the paranoia I’m developing towards my trustworthy calculator. If that scenario did happen, I can imagine myself crying out a big ‘No’ with my head faced upwards, and my voice echoing throughout the hall. That probably wouldn’t happen; I would be doing that in my head.
3. Union Lawn, having lunch with my friends. Randomly talking. I notice this seagull, and that’s because it looks weird. How is that? Well, I think it had a fractured wing. But it seemed to be fine with it, although it didn’t try to fly. It simply walked along our side waiting for food to be dropped. With all the Genetics I studied last year, I began to wonder, if it could have been mutated! You never know…
4. I’m very happy with myself since I have been taking the new bus service from North Melbourne to Uni, which takes just about 10 mintues. This saves me heaps of time from getting off Melbourne Central and hopping on the tram. Thanks to my friend’s friend, who told us about this.
5. Ending on a good note, I donated $5 to the Anzac day Appeal. I’m not the donating type, but I felt I needed to. Now, I feel much better about myself.
I hope I haven’t wasted your time if you have read all this. I warned you at the start!
Now, back to do some serious studying…
Till next time
Good on you for donating money! I’m sure you’ve now stored up some good karma.
