I am an excellent friend. Rating: 18+ (Silvia)
So after all that ridiculous fairy floss fuss, we decided to head out for lunch. But first, we had to wait for another Asian friend to join our little group of Asian people.
We waited for some time and because the majority of us are idiots with the attention span of goldfishes, we got bored. And when we get bored, things happen. That’s because we do stupid things to ease boredom and it never goes well—for our victims 😉
On that particular day, our lucky victim was Chung. I have no idea why, but we are obsessed about Pedobear. Yes, you read right. Pedobear. If you don’t know what it is, I advise you to Google it only if you’re over 18 and do not faint easily. You have been warned. I will not be responsible for you gouging your own eyes out.
Anyway, Shane was an O-Week host so he had a marker and those sticky nametags. They started writing things like ‘Stalker’ and ‘Pervert’ on them and sticking them on each other. The vulgarity of the words increased with each sticker, to the point I refuse to repeat them here. Not because I’m being considerate of you, dear reader, but rather because I think some people will hunt me down and shoot me if I did.
Then we decided to take it one step further. We would draw Pedobear and stick it on someone! That someone was, of course, Chung. Sadly, Nicole, Jeff and I lack any artistic ability so the task of drawing Pedobear was left to Shane. I admit, he did a pretty good job. Take a look!
Then Jeff’s friend arrived and we headed out. But Chung started pulling the stickers from his back and instantly, Shane and I grabbed each of his arms in an iron-vice armlock. There was no way Chung was getting off that easily 😉
Oh yes, we wrestled Chung out the doors and into the streets with Pedobear on his back for the world to see. We saw a group of schoolkids crossing the road (where we were headed) and tried to drag Chung over. Imagine that scene! An angry guy with an adorable bear on his back which had… uh, let’s just say negative connotations. The kids’ reactions would have been hilarious! But alas, we weren’t fast enough. The young students crossed the road and the light turned red. So did Chung’s face, ha!
Eventually, we did let go of Chung and he did rip off Shane’s handiwork. Such a shame, that drawing of Pedobear was kind of cute. It doesn’t look like an evil toy. But evil is what it represents. I have to wonder how and why it is such an icon, like Hello Kitty. That overrated cat is much more child-friendly.
Random thoughts. Anyways, blog again soon!
