So the other night I dreamed of eating Krispy Kreme…
I craved the taste of such rich, sickly sweet donuts…
I wanted to devour the fluffy textured cakes, iced in a tempting white frosting.
And yesterday my dream came true.
Presented to me at approximately 6:30pm was a box of one dozen, straight from Sydney, Krispy Kreme donuts.
A variety so delectable, so pretty; each screaming “EAT ME, EAT ME” …it was like being at the Mad Hatter’s teaparty and there I was as Alice….
So my dinner last night was four gorgeous KK donuts….each a tribute to itself in individuality and sensuous taste.
There is nothing like KK for tea.

four? whoa?
ha i don’t understand the rage about them, i guess i take it for granted being from sydney and all, although i heard a melbourne store opened up.
They even have krispy kreme ice cream now.
I agree with Lara. I’m not at all over the moon about KK.
And Fountain Gate is near Dandenong, so requires you to goto zone 3 on public transport. I got quite alot from there, including the GameCube everyone is always playing Super Smash Bros. Melee on here at Medley.
I agree the KK donuts are great: I tried one when they were giving out free samples in QV as a promotion. But a little off the topic – Sophie, how did you get chosen as a blogger? By the way, You’re doing a really great job and I enjoy reading your entries. Did someone approach you at the start of the year or something?
Hi Sara,
Thanks for the comment about my blog. It’s really nice to get positive comments about what I write!
As for how I got involved in the site. It’s a long time back now…but basically there was a form in our O-Week guides asking for applicants to be part of the Blog site. You had to fill in an application and write about why you thought you would make a good blogger.
They were looking for someone from each faculty and I was lucky enough to be chosen to represent the Commerce faculty.
🙂

ps – I am used to KK standing for Kent Kingsley, or perhaps a racist with a spelling mistake… so the phrase KK for tea is an interesting one
I love Krispy Kreme too ! But I heard that the store in melbourne is going to be far far away. They shd have one in the city
Yeah…they’re opening one at Fountain Gate in a month or so.
I don’t even know where Fountain Gate is!!!!!!!! Lol.
I wish they had one at Melbourne Central or something. YUMMMMY!
